We know home services might be sitting on the back burner at this time, but servicing your home is actually very important right now. As we spend more time inside, it’s important to make sure the systems in our home are functioning properly and efficiently.

To help the families and homes in our communities through these times, we are lowering our prices by 10% until June 1st. Read below to learn the best ways to proactively protect your chimney system.

Why It’s Important

You may not realize it, but one of your chimney’s worst enemies is water. As rain, sleet, or snow penetrates the exterior and interior of your chimney system, it can cause costly problems such a cracking & crumbling masonry, rust, and deterioration of your flue liner.

Fortunately, you can take measures to safeguard your chimney from potential weather damage.

The first step is to set up an inspection, where we can determine if there are already cracks showing in the masonry. The next step is to make sure you have a crown or cap installed, because otherwise, the top of your chimney is left exposed to water, debris, and wild animals.

We’ll also remove unsightly stains from your chimney while we’re up there, giving it a fresh and clean look.

Once those things are taken care of, we can apply some high-grade, long-lasting waterproofing products such as CrownCoat (which repairs & protects your chimney crown) and ChimneySaver (which serves as a water repellant).
