The team here at Traditions Chimney Sweeps is ready to take care of all your chimney sweepings and inspections. We’ll do it right the first time!

Chris

Chris is a certified chimney sweep and a licensed contractor in the state of Maryland. Passionate about keeping your family and home safe, Chris is a full-time career firefighter in Montgomery County. Chris grew up in West Virginia and enjoys spending time hunting, fishing, and spending time with family in his spare time.

Austin

Lead Technician

I am a Certified Chimney Sweep through the CSIA with a strong attention to detail when it comes to inspections, repairs, and safety. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and friends, and going on hikes with our rescued dog, Sal. I grew up in Massachusetts before my family moved to Frederick, MD after high school. While in high school, I shot competitively for our local trap and skeet association, where I was awarded Junior Champion in the 12-gauge division. Prior to working with Traditions Chimney Sweeps, I was a certified animal control officer for the District of Columbia.

Traditions Chimney fixed errors from another company, educated me about my chimney and then installed an insert which corrected the previous company’s errors and gave our home a beautiful working wood fireplace. Chris and Austin go above and beyond to communicate and followup, detailing what will be done and how long it will take.  Highly recommend.
